Hormonal contraceptives can decrease a milk supply for some mothers.
    Etonogestrel e-lactancia say:

“About 1 in 100 women using etonogestrel implants may have a significant decrease in milk production (Stuebe 2016).”

Medications and Mothers’ Milk Online say re Etonogestrel Implants (Implanon, Nexplanon)

“Possible suppression of milk production early postpartum is reported.”

    Lactmed say re Etonogestrel

“A review of published data concluded that the etonogestrel implant appears to have a risk of lactation suppression of about 0.9%.”
