Philippa has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2011 and a La Leche League Leader (breastfeeding counsellor) since 2002. Philippa is the owner and editor of Breastfeeding.Support an evidence-based website sharing helpful breastfeeding tips and resources. Philippa was Managing Editor of Leader Today, La Leche League International’s Leader magazine for seven years and a Professional Liaison Leader for La Leche League GB for nine years (2015-2023) supporting La Leche League Leaders with complex medical queries.
In her own private practice, Philippa currently offers a small number of video support sessions and home visits locally to Dudley, Stourbridge, Sandwell, Kidderminster and Birmingham. A member of Lactation Consultants of Great Britain, Philippa has professional liability insurance and holds an enhanced CRB check.
